Course modules
The assessment is designed to test the knowledge; understanding and competence of an operative working on domestic gas central heating/hot water boilers and circulators up to 70kW net and gas instantaneous water heaters.
The assessment covers:
1. Service and repair
2. Fault Finding
3. Commissioning
Entry requirements
Before the assessment may be undertaken, you must provide evidence in the form of past certificate in the following:
CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety certificate
CPA1.
If you hold both CEN1 and WAT1 ‘Initial’ qualifications will be able to do CENWAT reassessment. If a you only hold WAT1 or only hold CEN1, you will have to do CENWAT1 Initail Assessment.
